Presently at the free town dock in Oriental. Tied up next to a massive shrimper. Very little wind. Regatta day here on the Neuse River and it looks dreadful out there. Sails hanging limp. Water like glass.
Will report further if this posts successfully.

Success! There's a good local restaurant in Oriental. I think it's called M&M's. It's a local hang out. Check it out.

DeleteI'm sure enjoying your blog posts, Charlie! I have a suggestion about how you might avoid the disappearing posts. Are you putting the blog posts together directly in your blog? If so, you might consider writing the posts "off-line" in a text processor like Notes or a word processor like Word or Pages. You can save those and then "copy and paste" into your web-based blog. If the blog post vanishes into the ether, you can go back to where you've saved it off-line and "copy and paste" it again! Just a thought!
